The side/deck mount power lock gives you 2 different mounting options. The rod holder can only be inserted into the mounting when the secured locking pins line up, thus, securing your rod holder preventing any dislodging.
The Scotty Orca has a moveable locking pin, giving you a free and quick release of the entire rod.
Removing the rod holder from the mounting, just follow the reversal process, they can only be intentionally dislodged.
